After working in electrical contracting for over 10 years, Luc Destrube and Lars Peterson founded Lumia Lighting. The idea for Lumia came after experiencing challenges finding innovative, trouble-free lighting products at reasonable prices. In 2021, we started working on our first product, the Zero-Dot^tm LED strip.  

We decided to veer from industry norms and pivot from the old handshake deal middle-man approach, and strive to create a contractor focused solution built on honesty, trust and respect. We keep it simple with efficient, trouble-free service; quality, carbon neutral product; and back all our product with an industry leading warranty.
