With our planet-first approach, Lumia will always strive to reduce carbon emissions; increase manufacturing and logistics efficiency; and support earth positive initiatives. Lumia Lighting achieves carbon neutrality by calculating the CO2 emissions across its entire operation. Then, we reduce CO2 use where possible and finally offset CO2 emissions by purchasing CO2e credits through hand picked carbon offsetting initiatives at year end.

While we understand that offsetting carbon emissions is a band-aid approach to reducing global CO2 emissions, it is the best option we have at our disposal to make a carbon neutral impact on our operation at this time. We are motivated to streamline our processes using green technologies and will make every effort to do so as alternative solutions become available.
